Synopsis
Set in an abandoned motel off Route 66, SUSPENSION follows Wolfie, a transman surviving alone amidst a presumed nuclear apocalypse. In memory, we meet Wolfie’s former companions - Angel, Willow, and Robin Hood. At first, it seems like they’ve established a harmonious community in their mission to build a new world.
But when Angel, a transwoman, miraculously becomes pregnant, their dreams devolve into violence. Wolfie is the sole survivor. Consumed by isolation and guilt, he succumbs to fantasy, obsessively caring for a ghostly vision of Angel - the mother and lover he never had.
But while Wolfie appears to be alone, he is unaware of a foreboding presence, surveilling him at all times.
